Love In The Mist Is a Glamorous and eccentric
creation of Melodic Black Metal, played and
produced by the solitary delirious poet,
Charnel Lechery.
Using exuberant keyboards and subtle guitars to create an exultant atmosphere,
Love In The Mist unites celebrity, decadence and decay within short and catchy melodies. With black metal's repeated and simple chord structures forming a base, the keyboards saturate and embellish everything to a melodic extreme. The works are self produced and carry a rougher edge similar to 90's melodic death metal, but the style of music is entirely different. All minor flaws are left in, as those flaws are a part of the music's creator. The vocals are guttural and throaty, a high growl mirrored with a deep bass death metal vocal for stark contrast. The entire theme is absurd and bizarre, not commercially favored and not technically intricate, but it is something original and totally unique. Fans of the bands Enslavement of Beauty, Illnath and Mirzadeh will probably enjoy the obscure style of Love in the Mist. The lyrics fluctuate between classic poetry and the harsh realities of death, decay and celebrity culture, giving another harsh contrast to match the vocals.
